Went for my first F maths lecture today. The lecturer is so much faster than Ms Thein. For thein's lecture, you could wake up 30 minutes later and she'll still be on the same page. Its very different as even Yvonne couldn't catch a wink at all. Furthermore, the lecture notes for F maths is easier to understand and complete. I feel that the lecturer is more 'auntie' than thein, i mean, the manner in which she speaks. I'm not trying to be rude but it's quite weird that our key to ending the lesson lies in finding the mistakes she committed in the lecture notes. As usual, maths teachers always use the same old excuse of trying to test our alertness. Math lecture without the rest of the gang feels really weird. Don't have swee, vincent or cheeky to talk to and yvonne don't have ying hui to nap with. There isn't anyone else i know in the LT other than the nchs gang.
Had CCA bazaar II today. Long before, i've already made up my mind to join piano and guitar even if i had to go through auditions. added first aid to the list after ying hui also expressed her interest to join. Yvonne was like wth, i'm back in red cross and ying hui didn't realize her CCAs clash till it was a tad too late. Eunice was pondering whether to join student council. Student council is fun, but there's lots of politics involved, backstabbing included. All the time and effort required and all the discipline to keep everything in place. Just basing on pure interest would be insufficient, you'll need a whole lot of passion for it. Seeing david an franson trailing for badminton, i also wanted to have a go at it. But one of the seniors looked rather unfriendly while the other was once my senior too. So hao bu rong yi den dao ji hui to play with him but mr ho came in to trail me. That didn't change anything as i'm still nervous when i play at trails and competitions. Every move would affect the final score in a way or two. Guess i played really badly and so many people were watching. arghh. Feel that it's my fault that franson had to wait for us and the girls feeling very bad. I should have went after him for my bag and he wouldn't have to wait so long for us. At that moment all we thought was that franson would just walk around an make his way back but it just didn't happen. Shoot, now i feel bad too-_-" ..sorry Franson..

Article 23 : It's nice to have someone to count on.
Tuesday, March 29, 2005
I suck at writing testimonials. Not because I don't have any content but rather i don't have any idea how to put it into words. So i spent at least half an hour trying to type out ying hui's testimonial, meanwhile qi hao had already finished 2 testimonials. My second took way shorter and by the third i was much faster and could even reach the word limit. Thankful for Yvonne and Swee Wei's guidance. As always, practice makes perfect.
Later in the day, we went over to the library to catch the movie "The Way Home". Although it doesn't sound very interesting, the movie turned out to be very touching and heart wrenching. Every normal gal will definitely cry after watching it. So much so i feel lucky not to be a gal or i would have done the same. Realized too that i'm not that bo liao after vinny tried to turn himself on those swivel chairs. I gave it a try too and must haf looked really spastic. I've learnt that da bai sha leaves pretty early so we are free to do whatever we want. Also earlier in the canteen, we, namely qi hao, cleeven(sorry for wrong spelling), yvonne and i saw da bai sha taking off her jacket and she looked really disgusting. I've gotta admit that tong hua is a damn nice song and very suitable for guys to sing to their loved one. It'll be really romantic especially the chorus. Unfortunately, i'm part of the talented bunch and me singing tong hua will be a dreadful sin. So envious of those with great voices, its alright, love can be expressed in many many ways not only through words of a song. Action still speaks louder than words. Haha. Maybe i'm just trying to console myself, and to vinny, this may suck, but i'll make sure to change it. Next stop, we came to the senior citizens corner at a nearby void deck. I guess gundam has made quite an impact on me. So much so that my first impression of the corner was that it resembled the control centre of a battleship. So while the girls were gone, vinny and i had another debate over a insignificant piece of cloth swee wei was wearing. Vinny held strong that it was only a sign of arrogance and pride while i just felt that it was a useless piece of cloth that only gives us more trouble once every week. Aside from our crappy debate, the six of us had a really fun conversation, recalling memories of our first day together, who we talked to first and who made the most impact on our lives so far. Just then i thought that it'll be really nice to have someone that we can count on as i thought of my x schoolmates from cat high. Also good to know that jun rong's doing great in aj currently. To my x classmates, it's been fun spending the last two years together. You'll have been great friends to have and i would never forget you'll. Though we each have our own path to take, may we not forget the times we shared and the friendships we have forged. Best wishes for your future endeavors and whatever you do. Take care and rock on dudes. With Love, Yi Cheng.

Article 22 : Orientation Day 2
Thursday, March 24, 2005
Orientation day 2 was great!
All we did was take attendance in school and enjoy ourselves in the mass dance before heading for k box. Og attendence was worse than yesterday, from a miserable 18 to about 10. Once again, i was made to start the ball rolling with 'peng you'. Shuting and her friends' are just overwhelming, filling the box with great singing. I feel that tong hua has made the most impact on me. Its supposed to be a love song yet it has a very sad ending. What can we do? Cherish, treasure what we have, don't take things for granted. As usual, the girls took nearly forever to decorate the photos and all because of the guys, running about, we had to take them again. From trying to burn excess time, we now had no time left. Though we rushed back long after pizza night started, we still got a share of pizzas. Really have to count our lucky stars and thank those who have helped to save some for us. Lesson learnt, don't go to machines that don't have time limit for photo decoration and don't fool around too much, your fingers could and would get burnt. After all the pizzas and stuff we headed for the hall for today's finale, "Who's behind that mask?". Throughly enjoyed myself for that 1 hour or so other then getting assaulted and nearly dragged up to stage. Quite a waste to end so early, especially since everyone had just gotten high and had to stop for the day, we didn't get to do the traditional dance!! I think i'd better end here. So long o5sa1, remember to rock on forever.

Article 21 : Xing Fu De Gan Jue
Tuesday, March 22, 2005
Actually, my original intention of going to school was to lend a hand to my friends who are new in school. Also thought of getting some friends down to play soccer. Franson saved all the hassle by suggesting to play pool in marina after meeting in school and we ended up playing soccer and netball in school before heading down to marina. Chee Kiang, showed his uncertain side as he was really nervous about having to talk to Mrs Ho. Eventually he got to have a short chat with her and it isn't that bad. Our principal is a really nice person, there's nothing to worry about. So, we left the ogls in training to their training and headed for our hangout for lunch.Leaving Shuting at Bishan, we continued towards Marina. Magdalene was supposed to head home but she realized she still had yvonne's bag in her bag, so she ended up going with us. What a weird twist of events. However, we ended up getting a simple kite and spending the whole afternoon trying to get it up. The kite didn't stay up too long and we were all exhausted and simply gave up. Then i dawned on me that it'll be really nice to bring girlfriends along to fly kites. Both teaching and getting the kite up would be a good way of spending time. It's really romantic too, the difficult process of getting the kite up and the countless crashes before everything becomes smooth sailing, best describes bgr. Giving up after a few crashes will simply mean the relationship being unable to survive challenges.
With time running out, we headed back for dinner. The meat looked really weird, furthurmore, i felt too tired to do any real cooking. The guys, namely Sweez, Cheek and i ended up eating only a little cooked meat, already cooked food and lots of organic material. Sweez found a table serving cooked food so he brought back for us since we were too lazy to cook. The food tasted alright but a little hard and cold. Luckily i'm so fortunate to have meis and got to try out eunice and ying hui's cooking. The most xing fu de gan jue i ever had. Guess the brownie pales in comparison to the xing fu de gan jue i feel this time, though i still haven't tried the brownies yet. I still don't know why raw veggie is still unpopular, shen its so healthy. Chee Kiang and Sweez looked pretty disgusted after eating them. Sweez and i had this game hei bai pei where the loser had to eat a piece of veggie. Swee lost all three and had to swallow the greens be4 he decided to stop as he had no more water to wash the veggies down. Also found out that ying hui and yvonne also like tomatoes, yay!! Chee Kiang still hasn't figured out what fuzzie wuzzie likes and dislikes. It's pretty fun to play mind games, both looking at people guessing and trying to guess. But some are really lame and it really takes keen observation to find out. Orientation 2 Feels really different, there's no one i know in my og. Only quan min, franni also in osiris. The whole day was boring other then the dance which really brought up my spirits. Maybe it's the J1 ogls compared to the j2s in orientation 1 and being transferred to Osiris. I feel very bad to leave my og to crash others since my ogl's are so nice. Especially since we'll be doing the same tomorrow, but i don't want to miss the dance. Seems like i don't have a choice.....Mei's seem very intent on draggin me with them and i also don't want to make them sad....and i also have to start thinking about where to get a mask for tomorrow's orientation... Lets just take one step at a time...

Article 20 : To all my meis out there, somewhere, anywhere.
Sunday, March 20, 2005
It's really nice to have so many mei mei s all of a sudden, but then, it doesn't change the fact that i've been in an all guys school for 10 years. So i might be indifferent or insensitive to issues. It's been a whole new learning experience for me, and i hope for your full understanding. Please don't hesitate to point out my errors, be it big ones or small ones.
Thank you. With Love, K/Gor

Article 18 - bluez
Saturday, March 19, 2005
This may sound weird, but i'm actually yearning for school to start again. I've been stuck at this particular Maths question since yesterday, it doesn't seem to work. Either the question is wrong, or i'm wrong...And there's this thing in my head that refuses to let me skip the question, like its get to the bottem of it, nothing else(One of the chief reason why some of my friends always have no time to finish maths exams). So, giving maths a break i picked up this health mag with a note from my mom to read the article about tanning. It says that tanning is bad, and we should all stay out of the sun from 10 to 4. The pictures of skin cancer tumours are pretty sick too, but they look edible, like grapes and plums...But tanning salons are worst, got to keep away from those. A sentence lifted from the mag "Frequent sunburns have been associated with increased risks of getting skin cancers." My mum's trying to prove that she's right about not getting tanned. I still have no idea what to bring on monday.
To meis (only): Want to get the class somthing? I'm pretty broke and don't know what to give. Two more days and school reopens. Two more days with o5a1, cherish them.

Article 17: Sentosa(Edited)
Wednesday, March 16, 2005
We went sentosa today.
*(For an overview of the whole day, pls visit yvonne's blog at http://interactrulez.blogspot.com.) Though its sentosa, the turnout was far and way better than before...and its also the first time to sentosa that girls actually outnumber the guys... Even tough the monorail has ceased operation, it helped save the routine journey from palawan beach to siloso beach...so the first thing we saw was the huge siloso word on the beach, and chee kiang was the first to venture up, climbing all over the words..and next to us was a couple of kids doing just the same...but just when i finally brought my camera..realized no batt-_-".. When we finally left the entrance, tck and sweez disappeared..but nvm..we got their stuff and headed for the beach..how big is sentosa anyway? how is anyone gonna get lost?...Eventually, we decided to go kayaking, so we had to walk all the way down just to get the package..then found out that we had no where to keep our belongings so we had to walk back...but halfway back, we decided to give volleyball a try, and with difficulty even trying to get the ball over the net it was quite an experience...at least with guys, all we needed was force the rest didn't matter, not to say that girls are lousy, just that they are more gentle creatures..but this doesn't prove that girls aren't sick, dangerous and scary creatures, i'll come to that point later... Luckily, we remembered our original objective-put our stuff with the rest and that we had kept them waiting for quite some time..ARgh.. then i made the mistake of not changing to my shorts for kayaking...but contrary to prior experiences, kayaking IS fun..cos ying hui very nice..not like other girls who are so slack, just let the guys paddle...proves my point that guys are nice people, know they are bullied but still go on...the kayak is really nice too, cos you'd get to lie down and slack...yvonne and her friend very ke lian, crashing into just about everything then they kayaked all the way to the other end just when we only had like 5 minutes back, so we had to paddle there to get them back... Then back with the rest, got sun tan lotion from chee kiang...which turned out rather useless cos i got tanned where i didn't apply lotion...then with my hands full of lotion, ying hui offered to feed me and sweez the sandwich...really got xing fu te gan jue...haha, its good to have meis, and swee's right, when was the last time we were fed? The homemade sandwich is really nice too...thanks, ying hui, for giving us xing fu te gan jue, and to eunice, thanks for the sandsich... i hafta say that all guys needed on beach is a ball, can play soccer, volleyball and water polo for the whole day...those days when we were much more "hiong"...and got much redder than lobsters...luckily didn't really get sun burnt today...the sun always playing tricks on us, hiding when we wanted to tan and coming out when we were leaving... The ball kept rolling into the water and getting wet so we gan cui go to waters to play water polo which we never got to do...we ended up chatting in a circle and even got both yvonne and shuting in the water...then the girls suddenly wanted to see the guys with flattened hairdos...then i realized that girls are scary too, when they come in a group and and surround you..at first they couldn't get my hair down but eventually it did come down..like whateva goes up must..(ya should know the rest)..then they wanted the see the guys' six pack which we didn't have and complained that all the other guys were half naked and we were weirdos, fully clothed in the water...vincent..not too bad.had three chins, swee wei was all rounder, and my figure wasn't any better..i've realized that i have a thermomether on my arm..my BCG..it turns redish blue when i'm feeling cold...lol =P..so useful.. When we finally left the water, and prepareing to go shower, poor shuting found one of her newly bought sandle missing...who will be such an idiot to steal ONE sandal...then ck and swee were very nice to offer her their slippers...forgot to mention that ck came sentosa with shoes...omg..toilet was overcrowded when we went but deserted when we were leaving..so ironic..but as vinny would say, "Life sucks, get used to it"... After shower, and some of the girls still need more time, we regrouped and sent out two search parties and i met my x classmate outside, quite a shock as it would have been the last place i would have thought i'd meet him...and sorta made me think of the past....our crazy sec class... With our efforts futile, we turned back to the toilets and then came the final straw which made up my mind bout not kicking balls on the beach...my x classmate's ball bounced to me and i wanted to kick it back to him..but my volley went totally astray and crashed onto the shelter... Luckily, we didn't make it to marina for steamboat..or we'll all be broke..food court's not a bad choice too..at least it's not oily...i'd get my camera working again then can post photos of the class ball...Next on we went to the arcade where i regreted helping hui and mag cos everyone ended up using their hands instead to shoot...ying hui and mag actually won after lagging 5 points behind...chee kiang is really good...even though he was just playing for fun at street fighter he beat the high score by like 2 million points...and his best move was when he shouted "NIN NEH" and KO-ed the boss...between fighting the boss, he even came to talk to us before continuing to trash the monsters...and i should really stay away from driving games...my jeep was ramming almost every wall and falling into mud pools...meanwhile, the girls were off to new zealand to buy ice cream(again)..so sinful... Then all of a sudden, yvonne and ying hui were very energetic, walking faster then the group and ck 'bu fu qi' and started to walk faster...today wasn't as tiring cos i didn't really exert much...and for once, we all travelled in the same direction at the station...then ck was really sua gu...wanting to go to toa payoh from the green line..then swee wei gave him a lecture on the mass rapid transport system...ck enjoyed quite a bit of freedom, can choose between staying at either his two houses at toa payoh or just go to amk...so convineint... when i reached home, my friend called me and asked me to join him in sentosa tmr cos his class was mostly girls and he wasn't too close to the guys either..had to turn him down cos 1 day is enough for me...besides its safer to go out with my meimeis...=)

It had been an eventful day.
We came to school like any other day but today's gonna be the last day we'll stay together as 05A1. This feeling i haven't experienced before, not during the last day of P6, nor the last day of secondary school. Really hope that the posting will be released on 23rd instead of 18th so we'll still have 2 more days together. Then during chinese, zhang lao shi gave us a parting sentence to boost our morale. We each had to go up and give our own. Chee Kiang: "Vincent, I love You!" Zhang lao shi: "Why?" TCK: "He helped to change my life." Then the girls came up together... "0" "5" "A" "1" "we" "lurve" "you" "yay!" Then it dawned on me that the class has given me lots since we came together and it would really be different without them... To 05A1: THANK YOU!!! From the girls: Dear kor, your such a nice person, a blessing to hv known you. Rock on! stay cheerful, talented 4eva. Will miss u de! Frenz 4eva ya. With love, Ying Hui. Wei Cui Cui! Brownies rock! So what if they are 99% chocolate? So what if i gotta run 100 rounds to burn off the fats. Brownies still rock =P...
After eating the brownies, i have my mind made up. Thats the standard i wanna achieve, not just frying eggs and veggies. Anyway, i've got lots of guinea pigs to try out my food =) Well, lets put the match behind and play harder next time. Since we already know their tactics, its time to show them a piece of ours.

Actually i have nothing much to say todae...becos i don't want to mention the silly nails thingy...
I just have to say that vandalism is very bad...and this is a day i might, would and should not forget. Oh ya...had our last china studies lecture today..quite "se bu de" cos cheena studies always fun and informative especially zhang lao shi's lesson. In a way its good for cheena studies to end cos the change in turn out was inverse exponential. Maybe franni will be the only one left. -Note: Girls please don't read the stuff below this sentence. We are really lucky, not to be banned from the student lounge...We had this mass mat fight, and it all started when zi yang smacked shawn with the round mat before all hell broke loose...Mats flew in every direction and the whole room became really dusty...everything came to a stop when a mat got stuck in the cables lining the ceiling...everyone started throwing more stuff at the mat, more mats, bottles and even magazines...eventually the mat came down with the aid of a pole and we decided to save our childhood to later...
Shawn and the others then left for mahjong, leaving me and chee kian in the student lounge and the place became really quiet. Really learnt alot during maths tutorial, a whole new perspective of looking at maths questions which i had overlooked... So..ya...and then came the brownie thingy again. Why are the girls SO not health conscious? Brownie=99.99% chocolate...such a sinful thing to eat and i don't think its filling too...i still don't understand why we ended up eating pastamania?? But its a good choice anyway, cos i haven't gone to pastamania for quite a while and the only thing i like is the abundant cheese...pizza hut's cheese has to be sprinkled, pastamania is scooped up in heaps...PS..don't ever try the creamy pasta..its nice but you'll get sick of it in no time..and this is gonna be the last time i'm gonna go out eating with girls..(girls are dangerous creatures). With the guys on their side, i was trapped and xinyi was on the other side poking me. Next time gotta stand at least 3 ft from girls. After the meal, Swee Wei sorta disappeared after meeting some CH guys while CK and i went looking around for sunglasses cos we felt rather stupid standing at the entrance, looking at the girls shopping. First we went 77th street..ok..16 to 20 for a pair of specs, still quite reasonable..then we saw this pair that was going for 450..and it didn't look half as nice as the latter..maybe it should be worn with the price tag on.. Next up..netball friendly between ny and sr. We had like lots of support, 4 guys and one teacher..sr had the soccer team cheering for them(their excuse for slacking during training). And i ended up helping to be water boy...ny did pretty well for the match, great passing and teamwork paid off and we won by a close margin of 20 - 17.

Vanity isn't a sin, a little narcissm wouldn't hurt.not to keep people out, but to see who cares enough to break them down.
