Figured out that i would be getting a whole lot less red packets this year...cos my grandpa just passed away last year and we aren't supposed to go around visiting relatives...On the plus side, i could sleep late during cny and red packets didn't really matter to me...
Luckily, my uncles and aunt decided to come over and visit us, and my brother finally decided to bring home his girlfriend, who is really shy and stuck to my brother most of the time.....
Whats most important, i got to see my cousins again after what seemed like ages (and they're still as playful as ever) and trust me, don't ever try playing snap with them...=P Besides, gambling isn't allowed at home, or its just that no one gambles, not even at my grandma's place..
Unfortunately, no ball games allowed this year cos my mom got a fish tank recently and previously, the balls always had auto aim and my cousins get really rough at times...Its pretty weird that all my grandma's grandchildren are boys but its better that way...cos we used to play with everything we could get our hands on...really miss the good old times...
To all the kids out there..rmb to cherish your childhood!..and most impotantly, HAPPY NEW YEAR!! =D

Guess what we did? We had this competition between two cts with the game called 'Taboo". In case you didn't know what taboo is, the objective is to guess the word, but the speaker cannot say the words that are taboo..somewhat like the action thingy, just that this time only words can be used...for example..if the word to be guessed is radio, then the taboo words are like DJ, FM and AM within a minute...
So as the game went on, we ended up tied at 18...to break the tie, our tutors suggested a final round with the tutors giving the descrptions...the other ct went first and scored a high of 5 words...so the pressure was on as as Mr Ho took up his position...with ease, we achieved 5 words and with plenty of tim to go and victory at our doorstep, we slowed down and took our time, relishing the moment..we emerged champs with one point ahead...we ended up doing 3 cheers for each other be4 ending the lesson...
China studies was really interesting too, with our chinese tutor as the lecturer...Really respect him for being able to make chinese so fun and involving....=)
Franson and Sweez came up with this..erm..what do you call it...phrase?..i've no idea..but its like called ' ti ti gong ' which is the hokkien for keep on talking...because of you know who..in our ct..and they actually came up with different genres like romantic, rap, heavy metal....and you've gotta move your hand with it...and its pretty cool that we can get a class logo so quickly...3 cheers for A1 !!! =D
As usual..our main topic for dinner is debts and how the whole thingy is linked..like liang yang owe hong wei money and i owe liang yang money, and the og owe me money and the og is linked to hong wei...so on...and we can go on and on along the circle, argueing who is the person who is owing all the money and it's like going around in circles...oh ya..gotta reminder all those in og 6 who have not paid SGD$1.30 to me pls do so by the end of this week or we'll keep having the same debate over and over again...
(PS: i've realized that 1000 hits is rather unpractical..so i'll be targetting 888 instead!..)

Been feeling slightly down this few days...cos i really miss my 'bruders' from og 6...=P
Maybe it's just that the times for fun is over and serious muggin is starting to set in...Maybe its just that i'm too sensitive cos its just like two days only since we last went to our fav hangout...i only get to meet you all in the mornings before assembly and during common lectures, other then that, our classes clash too...really MISS you ALL!! =P

Other then that, school is improving, lessons seem to end much faster than before and days seem to end even before i knew it...

gp tutorial was interesting, we had like this battle of the sexes thing but its was like girls outnumber the guys two to one...the guys sabo-ed me cos i went to the toilet..i ended up having to read a really LAME script that they had prepared for me..regardin this made up story where i am supposed to be obsessed with balloons, especially the red ones and how i intend to break the world record and my doorbell being a balloon that goes POP when someone presses it...we lost the first round to the girls cos it was based on time and the girls' speech was closer to 5 min...in the second round, i had to find a partner to 'lend' me his hands to help me make a point while my hands were on the script...we fared better and defeated the girls...

Both groups then had to send two new members to repeat the previous speech and our deadly duo was unstoppable, defeating the girls' for a second point...The last part was the best as we were doing something like whose line is it anyway?..the first scene was on a canoe, paddling away from an island and the two had to syncro their paddles while talking to each other using a limited number of words...girls went up first and lasted for only 5 seconds.the guys fared better, lasting up to 29 seconds...in the end we won the 'battle' and our civics tutor summed up the whole thing with a conclusion that girls are more long winded, cos their speech was longer, but the guys where much better at impromptu speeches, entertaining the audience during speeches and also better at small talk....

School's ended and i had to rush over to the hall for training, didn't have time for lunch and that pretty much affected my performance, stomach grumbling throughout...but training was pretty slack, cos i got relegated to the last division so we were like 8 guys scrambling to two tables, so we ended up playing doubles which i totally suck at(cos i can't serve from the right properly)....But can't blame the coach too cos our seniors gotta train hard for the upcoming competitions..we had a great time as usual after all...we even had a preview of the CNY performance..and it is just way too lame..especially the part where the houses had to do their skits...oh my goodness, i can't believe they actually dare to do that on stage...poor things....we were like packing up to go home while they just started their second run...

Archery training was quite awkward as i was the only one from nanyang while the rest were from raffles jc...some of them were pretty friendly, offering to help me while the rest were pretty dao....its quite a good environment to be in, maybe get some muggin tips from them...still having some trouble with the bow since i increased the poundage twofold and also as the limbs are still new and un-seasoned...

while, i hope things will turn out fine and really wish that i'm just one oversensitive person who is just too blur and maybe when the fog clears everything will be clear and the sun will stand tall above all man, with all its glory, pour out its golden rays upon us...wat the...the previous sentence sounds rather weird...

(Maybe then i will have less typo errors and i'll find a nice sond to put on the blog...wait..and also..and also achieve 1000 hits before CNY!!...) =P

School's been pretty fun so far...and i'm very high now..cos i finally got my own metal recurved bow..hooray!!=D....So far, it is becoming really obvious of the bonding within the class...Like coming together to dress up Franson...Its like the coperation is becoming stronger and we are working well together...But all good things will come to an end..cos most of us wanna go to science, and we'll be losing our superb history tutor-mr kellet....The lecture tutorial system is still pretty confusing to me cos most of the time, i'm just following the rest of the class without knowing where our next class is....
Gotta clarify that i'm not embezzeling funds, i just keep forgetting to bring it!..sorry guys, i'll try to bring it tmr...and btw...stop using me as an excuse to not pay up the money!!...=D
I know it's pretty late, but better late than never...so HAPIEE BARTHDAE Chee Kian!!! =D(We'll remember to buy something thats not choc next time..if there is one..)
